[ RP journal for use in paixaorpg by nepryne. This character belongs to Clover Studios, I just rp her (in a modified form, but still). ]
Character: Amaterasu ("Ammy" for short)
Series: Ōkami
Age: While she's been around for at least a couple hundred years, she's also a goddess, so her true age is unknown.
Gender: Female
Sexuality: Asexual for the most part. While she might take some sort of interest in people at times, she's never shown any sort of romantic interest towards anyone of either gender.

Appearance: Human-like in form, though the fact that she used to be a wolf still shows rather plainly on her. Delicate snow-white fur covers nearly all of her body, and she has a wolf-like muzzle and two wolfish ears that show from behind long, silver-white hair. Crimson markings cover a small part of her body, with the most obvious markings being on her forehead and around her eyes. Similar markings cover her back and shoulders, though those cannot be seen due to the kimono she happens to be wearing. Her eyes are of the same red color as her markings. Small, wing-like tufts of fur sprout from both of her upper arms and shoulders. She's managed to keep her tail, which has curly fur except for the straight fur of its black tip. Her hands and feet are human-like except for the layer of fine fur that covers them.

She wears a rosary of shimmering purple beads around her neck, and a glaive hangs at her side – both weapons of hers that she kept even after being brought to Paixao.

Personality: A benevolent spirit, she's known to help others when they're in need – whether it be by giving them food, fixing things, or saving them from monsters about to gobble them up. She's rather soft-spoken as well, usually not talking unless she needs to or unless she's spoken to first. For all her kindness, she's also of the rather serious, no-nonsense sort – and if there's work that needs to be done, then she'll do it. "Leap before you think" – the phrase spoken to her several times by her former companion Issun – is an apt description of how she'll act then.

Abilities/Weaponry: The rosary that hangs from her neck can be used as a weapon - she's able to flip it off and use it like a whip. She can also use her glaive, though that's usually used only when the rosary falls to work.

Then there are her Celestial Brush powers. With this so-called Brush (which is actually her tail) she's able to control various elements and actions by making specific motions with it. However, owing to how Paixao is set up, her powers will be limited to only about half of what she'd normally be able to do - Rejuvenation, Power Slash, Galestorm, possibly Fireburst, Thunderbolt, Cherry Bomb, and Veil of Mist. Any other powers she tried using wouldn't work due to having to control the heavens (Sunrise and Crescent), lack of plants (any of her Greensprout powers), lack of needed items (Catwalk, which needs a Kabegami statue), lacking a source (Inferno, Waterspout, and Thunderstorm, unless a fire, water, or electrical source happens to pop up), or just plain not knowing them yet.

Weaknesses: Lack of belief - seeing as how she's a goddess, or -was- a goddess in her own world, her powers come from the prayers of people. The lack of these prayers causes her power to dwindle. As she's already been separated from the faith of the people of her homeland, her powers have already been cut down somewhat. This means that while she's still physically as strong as she was before she came, her Brush powers have been drastically reduced, especially in the realm of how much power she can give for them. Any kind of heavy usage of them will result in her power being drained completely - after which she'll have to rely on her physical strength alone until she's able to rest and allow her power to recharge.
